MGE Wholesale is listing the above, available to FFL holders. Seems like a good price, although I have not researched the market as I am not interested in this myself, so please, no flames if it is selling for less elswhere.

Best price I've seen. Is this in their new sale flyer ?

Most of us aren't FFL holders though.

Perhaps the cost savings will be passed on. Not sure what LE6920's are selling for these days. What's considered a good price for a LE6920 ?

No as you would have to have an FFL to purchase at the price.

Since many FFL holders/dealers will special order for a fee, I posted this as an opportunity for members who know an FFL holder/dealer who will order for a fee, or markup. Not trying to undercut stocking dealers, but I would do this for friends/clients.

For those without a dealer that will just charge an ordering fee and want to mark up a set amount, CDNN has the 6920 for $1099.99 with a free 4 rail handguard (I don't know the mfg, probably UTG or something else cheap)

So, if your FFL just charges a transfer fee on internet orders, may end up cheaper than if the FFL orders themselves.

GT Distributors has Colt LE6920 for $995. It seems like a pretty good price. I don't think the "free" quad rail you get from CDNN is worth much, certainly not $100.

CDNN does have Colt .22lr carbines for $369.99 and the LE6520 for $899.99.

I believe that you have to be LE to get that price from GT.

I get most of my weapons sent to a local dealer and he just charges 50 for the transfer .he has never tried to mark up anything I order ,But my barber Hooked me up on his son in law and he said 35 for the transfer so I will be going to him from now on

I am paying $15 for UPS ground shipping on my AR purchase and another $15 to the FFL holder to do the transfer. It would actually be more to get it locally, because then I would pay sales tax.

Mine is scheduled to be delivered Tuesday.

Grant (G&R Tactical) is showing a mid length BCM carbine with no handguard or stock for $983. It would be a bit more than the Colt 6920, but you get to choose what stock and handguard you want.

Hmm, didn't realize that GT has a location about 10 minutes from my house. I will have to check them out.

The Dallas store is new as it used to be just Georgia and Austin.

Id consider anything under 1200 a good price for a 6920. I paid quite a bit more than that for mine 1.5 years ago.

I guess I am going to have to just drop by because I can't tell if they sell to non LE or not. It doesn't say anything on the 6920 website, but on some of the other stuff they have a list of who they will sell to(LE, EMS, fire, military, etc).

The 6920 is what I am really interested in, even if it is a little more than what they are listing if their listed prices are LE only.

I am also not too far from them, live in Grand Prairie but work in NW Dallas. I hope they can get a hold of some 6720s for the same price of the 6920. Ever since they came out with the 6720 I have been wanting to make it my new Duty rifle. I may stop by there next week but if you make it before me ask them if they have any plans on ordering 6720s.

Will do. Knowing my lack of patience I will probably stop by tomorrow. I will let you know what they say.

I was at the one in Austin, on Thursday, they just started selling Colts, I was looking to see if they were the 6920 LE and not the Sporters, they are the LEs, small pins, full auto bolt, for law Enforcement only Ect... and are not restricted any one can buy them, I was there trying to order a 6933 SBR, that one, they "will not" sell to anyone that isn't LE, the 6933 was like 1075.00, they told me it was Colts policy. a super deal on the 6920s

So they will sell a non le a 6920 but not the 6933, is this correct?

The 6920s that I looked at, were LEs and had the tatoos on the lower receiver, GT Dist. told me it was a colt policy and could not sell SBRs to non-LE, maybe this will change...

If that is the case on the LE6920's here at their Dallas location, it looks like I will be coming home with a new toy this week.

Simply put, if you are getting into this wonderful and pocket depleting hobby, this is your starter platform. It will carry you far.

Notice I am not addressing it to those who have known "the list" the hard way or via a good education "after the fact." I am long in the tooth as far as this platform, and already have my high-quality selection.

I picket up one as an investment for $1049 new about a year ago on what I thought was a good deal. Outstanding here!

You guys that want one need to quite speculating and just go buy one.

Now I am tempted to buy a 6933, guess I'll head over to the NFA forum as I have no clue when it comes to that stuff.

Yep GT distributors deal is real and yes its available to non-LEO's. Is been verified on another forum. I personally didnt want to start a post about it here, as it hurts the sponsors of M4C.

Put one of the 50 LE6920's GT has on the way on hold today. Same price as what is advertised, and no you don't have to be LE.

They didn't have any Colts in stock at the time, and the only ones on the way are the 6920's. From what I gathered to purchase a Colt NFA you have to be LE, and you also have to be LE to purchase Sig, Springfield, and Glock(unless you are a member of Glock something or other).

They seemed to have one guy that new his stuff, the first guy I asked didn't even know what a "6920" was.
