Ernie Brae at Red Creek Tactical, Ernie does our selectors Cerakoting for us :D

He's not a site sponsor, but he is very very good, an honest and great guy.

You don't need an SOT to gunsmith NFA weapons, just an FFL.

Q: May a licensed gunsmith receive an NFA firearm for purposes of repair?
A: Yes, for the sole purpose of repair and subsequent return to its owner.

If you do want someone with an SOT, www.boresightsolutions.com does the work and has a CIII.

I've used Alternative Coatings (http://www.acoating.com/). Only for small stuff, but they were reasonable, friendly, helpful, and fast. They have an FFL.

It opens up the options but not all gunsmiths know it's legal or want to deal with NFA items, don't be surprised to hear NO or an uninformed rant...

Make sure you send a copy of your paperwork with the item. I have used www.parabelluminc.com on a couple of Class III items and have never had an issue.
