Does anyone make one that does not have a bayonet lug or sling swivel?

Sorry if this has been covered.

Thanks but that one has the bayonet lug and sling swivel that I do not want. If nothing else I will get that one and mod it.

I'm sorry, in your original post I thought you wanted one that DOES have a bayonet lug.

Good luck in your search.

If one exists, it can probably be found at at least one of:
Brownells
MidwayUSA
Stag Arms (they sell parts too)
Armalite Inc. (ditto)

Do you own a dremel? Honest question.

You may have to call because they aren't going to be popular, installing an undrilled FSB is-- I can't imagine doing it without a drill press.

I'd also try http://www.sarcoinc.com/m16.html

If everyplace else fails there is http://www.specializedarmament.com/ It will cost an arm and a leg but they got almost everything.

ETA: I'm pretty certain sling swivels are standard.

Just keep in mind that pinned front sight assemblies are not interchangeable from one barrel to another. The assembly is installed on the barrel and then the taper pin channels are drilled through the assembly and into the edge of the barrel.

Thanks to everyone, mark71 got me covered. I knew that I could just cut the lug and swivel off but figured if I could buy one it would be easier. I don't live in a ban state or anything I just don't need them and think it will look cleaner with out the extra stuff.

This is a great forum thanks again everyone.
