Are Gen4 G26 good to go?

I am looking to get a G26. Can't decide between gen3 and gen4. From the looks of it, nothing internally has changed unlike the Gen4 G19s. With the addition of the backstraps, it looks like a nice upgrade to the Gen3. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have multiple copies of G19s and G17s but one lonely excellent 2010 G26 and have thought about a Gen 4 G26 whose grip treatment I like very much. I've monitored a half dozen or so user reviews on GT and so far, they seem solid.

Lots of folks assumed they would be because they've long had the double captured recoil spring set up and that didn't change.
