View Full Version : ARMS #41?
Anyone running an ARMS #41 folding front sight base? I've been considering one for this middy with DD Omega 9.0. I'd like to make room to run the X300 at 12:00 and clean up the FOV a bit.
I'd like to hear about your experiences with it before I swap out a pinned on FSB for a clamp on.

I would stay away from anything that clamps on istead of pinned or set screwed. I like their BUIS but would never consider their folding "clamp on" FSB.
If I had to go with a folding FSB, I'd go with a PRI one long before an ARMS one. I've had too many problems with ARMS equipment in the past.

I would not put a clamp on FSB on anything except a gaming rifle for three gun or something. If I were you I would shave down that FSB, paint it over with some flat black paint and then cover it up with a 12in rail.
he could pin it.
better if using a solid pin instead of a roll pin like in the pic below

I have a couple, and have never had any problems. I also know a few LEO who use them without any problems. The 41b is well made.
