Aimpoint battery and adjusment cover retainer

I have searched and searched but cannot find a retainer for the battery over and adjustment covers on my CompM. I like the retainer on the patrol rifle optic. It is compact and doesnt stick out. My Aimpoint had some funny looking string attched to the caps and that went in the trash very quickly.

Does anybody know of a source for any type of retainer for the covers?

Mods...I have searched and cant see to locate what I am looking for so please dont delete this like you did with my post about lens covers...
