I’ve had mine over 3 months now & I’m very happy with it. It has broken in nicely. The trigger was 4.5 lbs out of the box & now just under 4 lbs. The action is very loose & would occasionally bind at the rear most point if you didn’t push the bolt straight forward. Now, I have to try hard to get it to bind.

When I first got the rifle, it averaged 1.5 MOA (best 1.25, worst 2.0) with various loads that I tried using a 3X scope. I haven’t shot for groups since. So, I’m not sure if there has been change. I have run some short range drills & was surprised how fast the bolt can be worked. Nowhere near as fast as an M4, but I was impressed. I was also impressed with the lack of felt recoil. The rifle is a pleasure to shoot. The short barrel muzzle blast was also no problem for me. I guess after years of shooting 14.5” M4’s (some with brakes), the GSR muzzle blast seemed tame.

Only negative, the forward rail screws came loose. I locited rail screws & the rear sight screw and no problems since.

Whats funny to me is that its identical to the Lee Enfield Jungle Carbine.

Kind of ironic that the brits had it right 70 years ago
