Advice on a Yankee hill uppers

I have a plum crazy lower I am thinking of putting a 6.8 on for deer hunting. There are some local guys throwing together a YHM upper with Todd Jarrett rails for around $600. I am not looking for anything fancy, however I am not to familiar with YHM. I would probably put a 3-9x optic on it.

I am wondering if the polymer lower will handle the 6.8 and also if YHM is of good quality? :confused:

I have a Yhm upper (upper BCG and barrel) that I have put quite a few rounds through and it does the job. It's not the best out there. But it will work.
