Like the title says, this is an unfired 16" M4 7.62 x 39 barrel with front sight base (no front sight post, detent, or spring). What you see in the pics, is what you get. I bought this on the EE a while back, and don't think I have room for a 7.62 build right now. It was advertised as new, but with many bulk storage marks, and as you can see, it does have many scuffs in the parkerizing. Chamber and bore look new, and I don't see any issues there. * Note: it was suggested to me, by someone, that this barrel has M4 feedramp cuts....the ramps are cut a little deeper than rifle ramps, but I don't think they are deep enough to work well with an M4 ramped receiver. The following was how it was described in the ad I bought it from:
" Covered with handling marks but its a NEW OLD STOCK barrel
It looks like hell but this is a NEW, unfired and never installed Ar-15 M4 barrel in 7.62x39 Russian
Its an ESS Mil-spec Barrel USA-made widely sold by Copes/Brownells/CDT and many others.

Chrome Moly Vanadium steel.

Sight tower is empty of parts and is pinned on per mil-spec.
NO M4 cuts
No rust but has a lot of shallow surface scratches. A cosmetic issue only
Bore is new. "
