On the Troy site I ran across this new T-22 chassis that they are making for the Ruger 10-22. I guess everyone has to cash in on the 10-22 market, but in my (limited) experience with Troy products, everything of theirs that I've tried has been well done and worth considering. I searched M4c but couldn't find any recent/detailed threads about the T-22, so thought I'd bring it up here.

The basics:
Troy offers the T-22 in both a sport and a tactical model. The tactical model lists for $329 with street prices as low as $280. The tac chassis includes a nice set of their battle sights, free floats the barrel, and is compatible with bull or standard contour 10-22 barrels.

This is one of the nicer-looking 10-22 chassis offerings I've seen, and hopefully it has the usual Troy quality. If I could drop one of my bull-barreled 10-22's into one of these and retain accuracy, it could be an interesting "precision rimfire on an AR-like chassis", offering a lot of options for recreational shooting. Although for serious AR platform training in a rimfire caliber (with true AR manual of arms including a charging handle), I would still stick to my MP 15-22.

Would be really interested to learn if someone knows more about these, or better yet, has tried one.

I owned a Nordic chassis and kitted it out but sold it off awhile back....I've been meaning to pick up a zimmerman Arms Rezolution for some time. It's the best designed 22lr AR type produced to date imho.
