Im buying an 11 1/2 inch barrel. I want the free float handguard to stop right where the threads start on the barrel. Will an 11 inch handguard work or will I have to get a 10 inch? I have been told when the barrel is inserted in the upper receiver I will lose a small amount of total barrel length. Just not sure how much I will lose. thanks.
