Many of the small and cheap Canon camera's can run an aftermarket firmware called CHDK (loads off the memory card and does not change the factory firmware at all). This is free and adds mutiple functions via scripting. I use one of the time lapse scripts to capture and log my shots over a range session.

I've included an example group with shot numbers tagged.
I set the camera for one shot every 25 seconds so I know the total time for this group was 4.5min with the first 4 shots in 1.5min. I had a feeding issue on the last round. This was a load dev session. The group is 4.5cm on a low node which is likely to not always be supersonic at 1k. I've gone 1.5 grains over this (around a 6cm group size) and still not got to the next node, no pressure signs but I'm not a fan or loads that hot.
Those of us who shoot by themself or at anything past mid range will not be able to use a spotting scope due to resolution issues or mirage. This is THE cheapest way to record your shots and keep data like this. Total cost is whatever you can find a new or second hand camera, some batteries, a decent sized memory card and cheap tripod. I've been doing it like this for some time and at the end of the day I can print out my targets and log details to file away.
The WiFi systems are better in some ways but cost and size problems turn me off. It would be useful for situations where I have a spotter along but it's not often enough right now for me to bother with one.

It's worth considering something like this as a training tool. You get a lot of additional data.
