Glock 19 gen 4 Limp wristing or?

I was shooting Glock 19 Gen 4 with a friend today. I previously put around 100 rounds through it with no malfunctions.
However, my friend encountered the following failure to feed/double feed? twice in a row:
The slide was about 1/4 away from being fully forward, a round was in a chamber at a weird angle.
I shot the gun with no malfunctions. He resumed shooting it and all was well.
Is that something that is typically attributed to limp wristing or some other gremlin?

Is the round that was partially in the chamber a live one?

Good question. Unfortunately, we didn't look too closely at it.

i would guess limp wristing, what spring do you have out of curiosity.

I would look at trying a different extractor first.

A Glock 9x19mm pistol should demonstrate 100% reliability with NATO pressure ammo.

If this problem persists with duty/carry ammo, seek an Armorer.

What ammo was being used? If the casing still in the gun has been fired it looks like a simple failure to extract. If the ammo is Wal-Mart WWB and cheaper 9mm ammo it is notorious for having a shallow casing rims. If it's not a problem that persists I wouldn't sweat it. Even a Glock will malfunction every now and then despite the "perfection" slogan.

If it continues have an armorer inspect your extractor.
