FYI..... Heard from my contact at S&W that FDE framed M&P 45's should be shipping to dealers within the next week or so. Some may already start seeing them.

Yeah, our shop got one about 2 weeks ago. It is pretty sweet, but I am over the thumb safety...that's why I sold my first one.

I will probably get one when I get back to the states.

Supposedly, they will be doing them without the thumb safety as well. I'll probably hold out for one of those.

The thumb safety is the reason I sold my M&P 45, not very positive feeling. I think I'll pick up one of the new FDE's without it. Other than that I liked it, nice shooter.

I don't like the mushy thumb safety on the M&P45. I've seen one the Dan Burwell cleaned up and made much more crisp and it was nice. But stock it's horrible. I bought the no manual safety model which I later traded off.

Been waiting for these.
Other news................
H&K P30's should be showing up. H&K released a small number to distributors.

If interested, try Richard Taylor (Manager): 303.363.0041

PS: I own the compact .40 now and love it, except for the long trigger take up...we NEED some aftermarket folks to kick this gun into shape or some aftermarket trigger folks need to work some magic!
