This question is for DocGKR but anyone that can answer my questions please chime in.

So this particular version has been out for a while now based on my Google searches. However I can't seem to find any reliable gel testing on it. It's out there on the online market for under $20 for 50 round boxes, so its seems like a great buy. The tests seem positive but the testing parameters are unknown.

I remember your tests of Q4355 and having inconsistent results in the 4 layer denim tests where 50% were not expanding. I see that Winchester RA40B, Q4355 and the PDX version in 180 gr, are on your approved list. However, no Q4369. I think the consensus is that its reclassified gov't overrun. Did you ever retest Q4355 and have better results? Also, have you tested or plan to test Q4369? Or is it good to go? Thanks for your contributions.

I just got a smokin' deal on some of this ammo. Doc in plain English, is this a viable round for self defense?

I contacted Winchester, who states the only difference between Q4355 and Q4369 is the box they come in...

Me too, just got enough to last me YEARS @ 40cents per round - which is a steel(oops-steal *(edit)) compared to the $1/rd everyone else is asking for the PDX-1.

Thanks for the confirmation, Doc!

I bought 2500 rounds at the large Phoenix gun show this weekend for .28 cents a round. I couldn't pass it up.

I've ordered quite a bit from sgammo. They have it back in at around .33 a round. Not as good as IG's but not bad.

So just to clarify, this ammo is good to go and does not have the flash hole problem like the Q4355?

I have shot several hundred rounds of this ammo and have found it to be quite accurate. I shoot it as well as Ranger, HST, etc. I have had no misfires or issues with it.
