Mount suggestions for DDM4V2 and Burris Tac30

Looking at getting a Burris Tac30 1-4 scope for my DDM4V2. Any suggestions on what mounting options I should go with to clear the A2 front sight. I would prefer a quick release, but really not sure if I should bother with the extra expense. My BUIS is a Troy folder and this rifle (my first and only is used for TAC rifle competion / training and classes.

I use the American Defense scout 30 qd, I don't recall having any problems with the front sight post. It''s in my field of view I'm sure but I don't really notice it. The mount is 1.47 inches high.

Take a look at the Burris PEPR mount. I've played with it a bit and managed to get it to repeat zero very close at 100 yards.

Get the ADM Recon and you'll be good. It won't "clear" the front sight, but you don't want it that high anyways. It won't block your view either. The mount is built well, finished well, and always returns to zero. I've mounted a couple of the Burris PEPR mounts and was not impressed at all with them. The Burris QD is junk compared to the ADM. As you can see in the second photo, it clears the Gen2 MBUS fine. It will however NOT clear the Gen1 MBUS.

No it's the standard RECON. I think the H is way too high.

I agree 100% about the Burris chinese-made PEPR. I was figuring someone wouldn't want to put a $200 mount on a $300 scope.
The Burris works but it is no where near the quality of the ADM's.

But maybe it's just me...

It's not just you. A couple of buddies of mine, who are on the cheaper side bought them for their Tac30 and asked me to install them since I have a set of levels and an inch pound torque wrench. I was surprised at how cheap feeling the Burris mounts were compared to the ADM. I almost laughed at them for buying them but I thought better of it.

On the other hand, the Weaver QD mount doesn't look too bad for a cheapo mount.
