Sorry for the necto-posting, but I found this manual online, in frankly, any number of places.

I posted it up on a forum dedicated to FN and was told that the restrictions on distribution still are in force and that only DoD and DoD contractors can distribute it.

So, is the document still restricted/classified?

Anyone happen to know?

No, actually, not.

The FNForum will not link to the document and has no versions of them available.

Seems like folks are lookin' to close the gate when the horses are long gone. The manual's out there and countless folks have downloaded it.

The concern is legitimate.

The manuals that are not "redacted" still contain the restrictions forbidding distribution to anyone outside of the DoD or who is not an official DoD contractor.

The good chap who did the work to get the documents through the FOIA provides the legal versions.

So, it's good to have them, and good to have them legally.
