Got to fire some of this today for patterning purposes, and I must say I haven't been this impressed with a Tactical Shotgun load since the Federal Low Recoil Tactical rounds that came out a few years back.

I used to have a Vang Comp 870 original "Scattergun Technologies" gun with the compensator ports that would throw 00 Buck into at 4" group at 15 yards. This LE00127 fired all 9 00Buck pellets with my new 870 with Imp. Cyl. barrel into a 3" pattern consistently at 15 yds. At 25 yds., it put all 9 pellets into a 10" pattern. Very impressive!

I opted for the "High Velocity" LE00127 versus the low recoil LE00132 with the "Flite Control Wad" load for penetration purposes. The "Wad" is the secret sauce" in this round. The shot is .325" in diameter, and weighs 49 gns. each. With this type of load and patterning, I no longer believe that Vang Comp modification is needed, although some might argue that the compensator ports are still Worth the $$$.

I don't have an issue with recoil in a pump. By the time you quickly cycle the slide, this leaves more than enough time for recovery for the 2nd shot. It might be an issue with a semi-auto shotty where you are shooting as fast as the "Gun" (not the operator) can cycle the action.

Just my $.02 worth.

Federal licensed the Choke wad technology--very good stuff!

Glad it all worked out for you... I might have to get some of the 127 for my Benelli.

Nope. www.ammoman.com

If you only want a sleeve of 50, you need to email them in advance. Otherwise they have 100 rounds for $100.00 shipped to your door.
