Thought you might like to check out the Grip-Tec from CRC (http://crc2.net/). It feels really awesome and is kind of tacky to the touch. The detail of the graphics are awesome also.

Thanks for making up for my weak Google-fu tonight. This is interesting. If this is available in ATACS then I may have just found the new finish for my AK....................................

Any info on how durable this finish is? Any chance of it rubbing off on the high contact areas?

I have never seen a durable hydro-dip, so I would also be interested in some reports (even though I will most likely never pay the cash for it)
