I took a look at the muzzle brake on my SBR today, and I'm glad its taking the abuse and not the suppressor. I've got over 1K rounds full auto, which doesnt help, but I'm sticking with this design on my SBRs. Short barrels have a bunch of unburnt powder and crap blasting out of the barrel, that chew up whatever it contacts first. The brake still works fine, and when it wears out, its just over $100 to replace.

The cone inside my Noveske KFH Brake which is on my 7.5" upper looks like that. It looks like it was melted by a nuke.

Bigbore,

What does the inside of the brake look like?

Bigbore,

What does the inside of the brake look like?

looks fine from what I can see, only the edges look "peppered".

Yup. I spent my money on practice ammo.

Doesnt matter what camera, you cant see into it while it attached, and I'm not taking it off. Its glued on good.

Not trying to be argumentative, but, how do you know its not the design of the Ops Inc suppresor that does this? At least the use of the break that causes this to happen.

Have you tried soaking the muzzle break in some Slip2000 carbon cutter? I hear it works really well. Just a suggestion from a non tactical guy. Must be nice to have such nice toys.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say?
