Evening all, is everybody ready to celebrate the holiday this weekend with some good old bbq action with friends and family??? Well back to my question, I purchased this R-1 online recently and mounted it on my Mossberg 500. I racked it a couple times and then I noticed that the red dot shifted a little. I wondered what happened so i looked at the sight. What had happened was that the inner housing had some how became loose. Does anybody know of a tool that I can use to open this and resent the housing? I really don't wanrt to send it back to Aimpoint just so that they can open it, repair it then send it back. A little insight on how that I can correct this please? Thank you!

Agreed.
Contact Aimpoint about it, send it back.

You can not fix this yourself.
Chances are that tube is purged with CO2 or nitrogen.
