Hello :)

I am looking to get this front sight with rails.
But I don't know the name of it.

Is there any people in here, who has a clue?
And where I could buy this :)

Best regards
Kim

It does look like a Yankee Hill flip up.
My experience with this unit is not good.
Put one on a DD barrel for a build I did for my brother.
The pin in the middle that would hold the whole thing together would walk out when firing.
YMMV

I don't think it's that one.
It has more clear lines.

Then why ask? It looks like one to me as well. Maybe if you posted a better pic you would get a better answer.

Looks more like a Midwest Ind. or a Young Mfg. model to me.

The rail could be a twin rail from diemaco. :)

No.
In your OP there is clearly a pin above the bayonet lug.

You're right.

And the hight of it when it is flipped down, has to be the same as the top rail. Or only a little higher.

I've found another picture.

It is used by Danish special forces.

That's not the same on as in your OP.
I'm inclined to think you are in search of airsoft gear.

Well if the danish special forces use it, it must be great. Get it now while supplies last.

It's not the same as there is not a bayonet lug.

No, I do not want anything related to airsoft :)
I need a real one, to put on my c8.

Oh... feel the ironi :)

Is it possible with some constructive posts instead of some which only gives the user a higher post count?
Thanks ;)

The reason why I want that rail is because I want a folding sight instead of the normal one. And when I've been on exercise with the danish special forces, then I've seen the one they have. And therefor I want to find out if it is possible to get this one.

There are countless folding front sight blocks out there that we could recommend you that are known to be reliable, robust and effective. This would be far more helpful and easy for all parties involved than having us run around the interwebs searching for a FSB that turns out to be multiple FSBs that are probably made by some ass-backwards European company that nobody's ever heard of anyways. You have stated a couple times that you want a FSB with a rail or something to that effect. There are also many rails with integrated FSBs which we know to be reliable, rugged and effective. If this is what you are searching for, let us know and I'm sure members here would be more than glad to help.

Oh well.

I was hoping that there was someone out there who had a clue :)

It's that specific model that I want an ID on.
If no one knows it, then don't waste your time on searching on it.

I've spend alot of hourse googling around, with no luck.
All I find is alot of crappy airsoft things, istead of rs sights.

If I can't find it, then I will settle with another one.

The main reason for this topic is that I want an ID on the sight, nothing else. I don't care if I can find a cheaper model, one in yellow, a prettier one or another reason ;)

Maybe it's a Colt Canada product if Danish forces have it, unlike the US commercial product, Colt Canada accessories seem a little clunky and strange to me.

ETA, it is made by Colt Canada. I was guessing before, but the property of the image says so itself :phttp://www.coltcanada.com/cqb-page.htm

Only a little haha :D

Well, I can't seem to find any information on their website if they have any options on the FFSR (Fold Front Sight Rail), so they match what I want.

And I can't find anywhere to buy Colt Canada products, maybe they are restricted to military sales? So I have to get them through my work, if they can :)

Not sure if Colt Canada can sell to US customers, even if you're LE or federal.

I think you'd be well served with one that's made here, ARMS, Vltor, PRI, etc. are all easily available, and they all a sight better than that strange and clunky looking front sight :jester:
