AFG"lite"
Anyone who knows me, knows that I can't leave sh*t alone. I absolutely dispise the AFG and mine has lived in a spare parts box since shortly after I got it. I found it the other day and decided to see if I could make it work somehow. Problem is with longer rails and my hand further out, I don't really care for anything other than the rail itself. Further in, however, I prefer a vert grip for better hand placement. I never used the AFG in the conventional sense, instead I hook my pointer finger in front of it. This leaves alot of un-used AFG that just gets in the way. I ended up with the AFG"lite", where I removed everything that was non-essential. It gives me a better angle closer in and doubles as a hand stop further out. It's goofy, but maybe it'll actually work? More than likely it'll end up back in the parts box...:jester:

My afg went on slimfast, all that's left of mine is a set screw wrapped in a little plastic. I did something similar awhile back. I added a rear stop to it. The set up is much more practical than the original and works well for me.
