velcro/snap ammo pouches

Anyone know who makes AR pouches with the elastic band pull open tops that have velcro/snap patterns on the back of them them? Second chance entry vest type. I can only find the velcro closed lid type. Thanks

Good luck on that. I'm not aware of anyone other then those manufacturing those types of vests making a backwards compatible pouch system.
The MOLLE method surpassed the velcro/ snaps almost a decade ago.

I would try googling up Body Armor, maybe even try American Body Armor (ABA). They used to make that kind of system.

i remember that the 'so tech' catalog showed that they can make custom pouches on the ol' snap / velcro grid.;) havent checked out their site lately, but i am sure that its a special order thing. good luck

the company who sold you that vest will VERY likely offer BLANK panels to cover unused velcro snap real-estate, get these as the base for your new pouch assemblies

that said, if you want to sacrifice your current pouch assemblies, I have previously modified mag panels to more amenable (read current design) pouch layouts.
