This course is designed for civilians and security contractors who carry a concealed handgun looking to sustain and improve their skill-set in those tactics needed to safely, quickly, and efficiently employ their handgun from concealed locations.

Here is your opportunity to get out and run through dynamic courses of fire taught hands on from current and retired Certified Law Enforcement SWAT & Firearms Instructors.

The class will offer the student a variety of training, including shooting from the concealed carry position with a handgun, close quarters combat, barricade shooting, positional shooting, shooting on the move, defensive shooting, advanced point shooting, shooting from a seated position, combat, reloads, and use of cover.

Interested. This is different than the basic concealed carry course? What are the requirements (ammo needed, other gear ect..)? I read the flyer about the concealed weapons course age requirment of 21, does that also apply to this class?

This course is more advanced than the basic CCW Course.

An 18 year old may participate, but only if they bring someone 21+, since they cannot travel with a gun at 18 per Florida law.

Also, the Certificate of Completion will not qualify someone for a CCW until they reach 21.

Please consult Florida Statutes, Chapter 790.

Required Equipment: Handgun/ Concealment Holster / 3 Magazines for Autos or 2 Speed Loaders for Revolvers / 300 Rounds Minimum / Eyes & Ears /Drinking Water / Cleaning Kits / Brimmed Ball Cap / Appropriate concealment clothing. Knee and elbow pads are suggested. No open toe shoes or tank tops
