I tried searching, but couldnt find a thread comparing the three.

I'm curious, as Im planning on investing in one of the three of these sights, and the price of each of them (for my financial abilities) is significant. I want to make a decision I will be happy with.

I have favored the Eotech for its reticle and price. I was eyeing the 516. I dont need night vision, and I'd prefer to run CR123 batteries, as that is also what my light takes... id rather keep everything uniform in case supplies are ever hard to come by.

I've begun looking at two other sights, recently. Namely, the Mako Mepro M21 (http://www.themakogroup.com/product_p/mepro%20m21.htm) and the Trijicon RX01NSN Reflex (http://www.trijicon.com/na_en/products/product3.php?pid=RX01NSN)

Both are Tritium powered, which alleviates the need for batteries (a big plus), but Tritium only lasts so long (~10 years i think, depending on the color.)

The Mepro M21 has a more appealing reticle (I like having the ring and the dot, for visibility).

Both seem similar in mode of operation Tritium/Fiber-optic illumination.
Both come with integral mounts for Flat-top receivers.
Both look fairly similar.

All-in-all, they're about $100 or so more than the EO516, but over 10 years of not buying batteries, (combined with the added reliability of not having to RELY on batteries in the first place) this $100 difference is offset, and well worth it.

I guess my question is, many people have experience with the EOtechs and love them (or hate them, for one reason or another)... What about these two sights? anyone with experience care to give a comparison?
