The leather-wrapped buffer tube nicely complements the 1911 grip and lack of handguards. The OD paint just completes the outfit. This is a REAL MAN's AR pistol. Burnt fingers are for sissies. This one comes with an asbestos glove (left only, Michael Jackson style).

You have to consider, in my first post, the creator of that AR wasn't trying to make a joke but was seriously putting together a firearm. The "ugly" in it wasn't intentional. :D
