I have never understood what causes someone to tear up their own town because of a sports loss.

That can't be possible. Michael Moore told us that Canadians are more peaceful than Americans.

Anyone who gets all that upset and violent over sports just needs to be put up against a wall and shot...because they are worthless animals.

For some reason we don't have a lot of sports riots down here in the South. Seems that when you try to burn some redneck's pickup truck he's more than willing to shoot people in the face.

College towns(even in the south) tend to burn after big sports wins...albeit without so much violence.

But after a loss? That's just so European.

Screw the Canucks. Congratulations to the Boston Bruins winning the Stanley Cup. Its so ironic that the Canucks mirror the same low class as it's fans.

If you are going to riot don't forget situational awareness.

If there has been, and it was about sports, it would have been about high school football.

The hockey crowds in Vancouver went on a similar rampage in '94 when the Canucks lost to the Rangers.

Can your wife account for her whereabouts on June 14, 1994? :secret:

I live near the site of one of the largest and most violent(and damn near completely erased from history) race riots in American history, right in the middle of Houston.

The charges that followed led to 19 hangings, and 63 life sentences. All from the mutinous company.
