I am looking to build a new lower. I would really like to have one with Ambi bolt catch release. At this point I am looking at one by Mega and one by POF

Anyone ever use one of these lowers?

Any pros/cons to one or the other?

Thanks

I did seek. It just seems that POF cost more and I didn't know if that meant better quality.

I have researched quite a bit. But I didn't know and I wondered if anyone had any experience

You forgot to mention Seekins Precisions new billet lower that comes with a ambi bolt release installed from the factory.

Rainier isn't the only place you can get one .. but it is one of the few places you wont get kicked in the wallet "too" hard.

I own and use two of their "gen 1" lowers and have been very happy with them. I'm thinking about getting one of the new style soon.

TJ

Wasn't the Seekins' lower a limited edition/run of some sort? I remember seeing another post about it.

POF, Seekins, Spike's, Mega, KAC, Lancer, and AXTS all make lowers with ambidextrous bolt releases.

I would wait for the AXTS AX556 lowers to come out - they are truly ambidextrous.

A billet Ambi lower with 45 degree safety selector throw would be very cool
