I have an electric smoker and have been doing ribs, brisket, salmon, pork butt, and some fruit. I tried a couple jerky recipes, but they have either been really salty, or too peppery or both at the same time to really enjoy. They kind of grow on me, but looking for something the wife and kiddo can enjoy as well. They really like the Jack Link's teriyaki. I was looking for a recipe to mimic it. Anybody got anything close? I would assume it would be salt, brown sugar, soy sauce, and a few other spices. Also, what cut of meat do you prefer?

I don't have any wild game right now, so am looking to do beef jerky.

Thanks
