I am planning on modifying a 16" DDM4 midlength rifle to 14.5". My choices are cut the 16" barrel or buy a 14.5" and sell the 16"
If I were to sell the 16" barrel how much could I get for it?
DD 16" CHF midlength, never fired besides on the factory for testing, and comes with low pro gas block already pinned.
You should be able to cut, thread, and pin for less than a hundred bucks. By the time you sale the barrel, buy a new one and install it you may have more than the hundred. One on my 14.5's, well 14.7 actaully is a BCM that I had cut by ADCO. It runs great and has around 4000 rounds through it. As a bonus if you cut the 16" you can cut to 14.7 and save the money for the extended flash hiders.

Any idea what is a fair price I can ask to sell a new, unfired, 16" midlength Government Daniel Defense barrel. The barrel comes with DD low profile gas block pinned.
Thanks in advance.

Hard to say. For reference, I sold my DD 14.5" barrel with pinned battlecomp 1.5 and gas tube for $310shipped 200rnds total.

If it's a take off I'd ask 80% of retail and go from there. If it's new, never mounted I'd ask 90% of retail.

I would've taken that out of your hands on a heart beat. How long ago did you sell it?

Less than a month ago. I think I had it for sale on here(Maybe not) It was sitting for a couple days, and I took the best offer I got on it.
