I am assembling the parts for a .50Beowulf build. It'll be a simple 16" carbine (assuming I can ever find someone with uppers in stock) as a short range woods gun, with a A2 stock and RRA NM 2-stage trigger, and probably a Millet 1-4x24 scope.

Has anyone put a 2-stage trigger in a big bore? Any issues? Doubling?

I use a RRA 2 stage with my Alexander Arms .50 Beo 16" upper. The gun is broke in (1K+) and I have used it out in the woods quite a bit. No issues

I love it, compact & light. I have Ace skel stock on a LAR Grizz lower, a mini Acog w/ red + hair.

I shoot the 375 XBP Barnes when it counts.... as the pointy bullet feeds without a hitch , it opens nicely and is a excellent penetrator. Great bear defense rifle.

Excellent camp gun and I wouldn't be concerned about shooting any big game out to 200yds. Its a thumper for sure.

I have been told to use a fixed stock for the 458 Socom. I would think the 50Beowulf might collapse a M4 style stock with a little use.

Olympic makes an aluminum collapsible stock. The are pretty well built, this one might work for you.
