Background:
Picked up a SCAR-17 a few months ago, and I'm taking my time getting it set up properly. One of the things I'm not a fan of in the SCAR design is the sling attachment options (aka "hope you like HK snap hooks"). I do have some HK hooks in my gear stash, but attaching my two point VCAS sling to the front and rear hook points didn't give me enough slack, and my support hand got fouled in the sling. The sling did work OK as a quasi single point if the hooks went to both of the rear attachment eyelets, but the weapon wasn't very stable when slung, and the hooks were eating the metal and finish on the attachment points on the gun. (I'm not one of those types that puts tape on his brass deflector, but there's no point in tearing things up if you don't have to.)
On my other long guns, I have a QD point at the rear of the left rail, which works well for both my AR and AK, but the SCAR's side rails are too abbreviated for me to stick a QD point on the rail and still have anywhere to put my support hand.
I had resigned myself to waiting until the Tango Down or Vltor extended rails came out, but poking around here and talking to Robb at VA Arms got me squared away. I figured I'd show what's working for me in hopes that it might help some fellow SCAR owners out there.
The setup:
At the rear of the bottom rail I mounted a Viking Tactics low profile sling mount. You can find them online here: Sling Mount (http://www.vikingtactics.com/prod_vtac_lpsm.html)
It takes up very little rail space, and doesn't get in the way of a magwell grip. (I moved my charging handle to the other side.)

Here it is with the sling attached:

For the rear attachment point I'm using a Blue Force Gear UWL with push button socket. You can find it here: UWL with QD (http://www.blueforcegear.com/products/Universal-Wire-Loop%E2%84%A2-with-Push-Button-Socket.html)

The UWL is coated so it doesn't eat the attachment point, and it's also much quieter than the HK hook.
Here it is all together with my snazzy comforter:

Hopefully this is helpful to someone... next problem is figuring out where the heck to put a light.
