I am wanting to make a 10.5 inch upper for my SBR, but not sure what I want. I had a Larue upper w/Noveske 10.5 bbl and Larue 11" gooseneck... it was great but a little heavier than needed. I am hoping to build a lower cost upper that is lighter as well.

Ideas?

A gov't profile with no added goodies if you want light light. Otherwise you have to accept the weight that certain accessories will add.
