Removing Ultimak to clean?

So for all those running the Ultimak, how often if ever do you remove it to clean the gas tube?

Have not removed mine but it dosnt seem like there would be any way to maintain a zero if you did remove it to clean. Using a 410ga brush and mop on mine, probably good enough for an AK right?

See pics where folks have marked the screws with paint for what I assume to be a torque index but what about side to side? More paint lines?

There is no need to. You can do all your cleaning through the Ultimak.

I mark my screws to make sure that they aren't backing out, not so that I know where they stop if I have to take them off.

GunScrubber should be more than enough to clean it right. All you need to do is blast out carbon. Lubing the gastube in a no-no.
