The Army is still pretending it's going to replace the M4.

At this point, most of us know otherwise, but let's see where this charade goes.

The purpose of this announcement is to provide additional industry questions and corresponding Government responses, resulting from review of the Individual Carbine (IC) Draft RFP, W15QKN-11-R-F003, and Pre-Solicitation conference held on 30 MARCH 2011.


Responses are provided as clarification only and remain subject to change. This announcement and the contained responses are issued for planning purposes only. In the event there are any inconsistencies in correspondence, the impending final IC solicitation will take precedence. As a reminder, no information exchanged with industry will be considered in the evaluation process. Proposals received in response to the final IC solicitation will be the only time that an Offerors information is evaluated for award.
