Reducing muzzle flash

Flash is the result of incomplete powder combustion within the barrel but which continues beyond the muzzle. My 7" really puts out a ball of fire...what powder is recommended for pistol barrels and is there reloading data specifically for short 223 barrels?

Simple get a longer barrel- with a shorty thats what you have to put up with! Your shooting a rifle round out of a pistol length barrel !!:rolleyes: There is no powder made that burns quick enough to get rid of the flash ! Longer barrel is the only solution!:suicide2:
