So two questions,
1) Where you guys get your foam for lining

2)Any idea what model it is?

I put the pistol in so you could get an idea of what size it is

Thanks

Try the container store, they sell the same style case and foam inserts for it. They have a site if you don't live close to one of their stores.

I have one of those and got rid of the foam. Reason being is that I had it cut for certain things and when I wanted to carry other items, it didn't work well. I would recommend using individual rugs and that way you can throw whatever gun you want in there along with small gear items, etc.

If you want foam, go to the vendors that sell specific cut closed cell foam and do a search for methods to cut it correctly. The pic and pluck foam does ok but not to heavy use.

2) That looks like a Pelican 1520 case. You can confirm that if the dimensions run on the exterior at 19.78" x 15.77" x 7.41".

1) If that is the correct case dimensions, you can get replacement Pelican foam at http: //www.c2csafety.com/servlet/the-1464/PELICAN-1521-3-PC/Detail (take out the space after "http:"). It is going for $36. I have ordered products from Coast 2 Coast Safety before.

Good luck to you.

+1
The pick and pluck foam is expensive and did not hold up for my use. I run a 1620 as a tool box and we have about 300,000 travel miles together and a shit ton of actual use and abuse.

It looks like you have a 1500. Go to pelicans website and grab your tape measure to verify. They have some interesting solutions for many cases you might find appealing.

Use two pieces of foam. The bottom half leave whole and make multiple top halves to fit different loadouts. That way you just swap the top half and you're on your way!

I want to thank you guys for your replies. I have a few different options now, the rugs for quick change or different loadout, or foam if I want to stay with the same thing. So thank you all
