HK USP45 capacity ?

Does anybody know of a mag base plate for the USP45 12 round mags that adds +1 or 2 ? Or a really good aftermarket magazine brand that holds more than 12rds

I used a USP45 for a few years. Never used anything other than factory 10 and 12rnd mags, but factory 14rnd mags would be nice. Couple guys I worked with tried Promags as a cheaper/more available alternative at the time, with dismal results in reliability. I recall someone on HKPro installed a customized jetfunnel on their USP45 and made some custom 14rnd mags. Not sure if it ever caught on though or if anyone offers custom mags above the 12rnds.

Sorry for the off topic question,but I thought the jetfunnel was an aftermarket part that was readily available? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Because I was really thinking of getting one.

The HK jetfunnel kit is a factory parts kit that is readily available for the 9/40 USP series, including the expert and tactical.
However, it's not for the USP45. Some users report fitting the kit to the USP45, but it required some work on the frame and kit to get it to fit properly, and there are no production higher capacity magazines for the 45 models like there are with the 9/40 kits.

There is/was a mod made by DocRak that added 3 rounds to the Mark23 mag (which can also be used in a USP45 and it's variants).

Another mod I have seen for Mark 23 was welding 2 magazines together then using some double stack 1911 magazine springs designed for the length to have 20 round magazines. I am sure the same can be applied here, but I have not seen any extended magazines from factory or aftermarket beyond the 12.

Keep us posted, I'm quiet interested. I love my USP 45, but I hate only having only 12 on tap.
