i'm about to finish up my AR squirrel duster. i was wondering if i could just use regular high rise rings? i plan on using a cabela's tactical turret scope http://www.cabelas.com/product/Cabelas-Tactical-Centerfire-Riflescope/752236.uts?Ntk=AllProducts&searchPath=%2Fcatalog%2Fsearch.cmd%3Fform_state%3DsearchForm%26N%3D0%26fsch%3Dtrue%26Ntk%3DAllProducts%26Ntt%3Dtactical%2Bturret%2Bscope%26x%3D0%26y%3D0%26WTz_l%3DHeader%253BSearch-All%2BProducts&Ntt=tactical+turret+scope&WTz_l=Header%3BSearch-All+Products one of the guys at the local shop where i bought the gun told me i had to use different scope mount than regular rings. i'm using a stag arms 6H upper with a flat top. the scope is 6-18x with a 40mm objective. if i do have to use a special scope base/ring assembly will the RRA high rise work? they are a couple bucks cheaper than other places i've looked. i'm new to ar's so i thought i'd ask the people who actually know. thanks guys!

here is the RRA part

I have used the RRA mounts in the past and they worked fine. You may ned the cantilevered version to get the proper eye relief.

thanks for the reply man. for now i'm going to try high rings and a redfield 3-9 by 40mm i have laying around. that should get me by until i pick up the other scope and the RRA part.
