Not really certain the best forum to put this, but you can currently pick up McNet Camo Form tape for as little as $2.15 per 12' roll delivered if you don't mind it being in ACU. Head over to Amazon and type in Camo Form ACU. A 10 pack roll from Grunt Gear is $21.50 delivered. Smaller quantities in the $3 and $4 per roll range.

Considering this stuff is typically $13~$20 per roll, the price is right.

This stuff is great on gear and as aid bag equipment (medical wrap).

I bought several rolls, I use them on a lot of gear, it's great for small items like flashlights for good grip and I always have a roll or two in my aid bag.

Haven't tried it, but I would think painting it would effect it's self sticking ability.

Just my two cents on this stuff... GREAT! edit(much to long): I use it on a knife handle for reduced glare and grip. Works really well.

I haven't spray painted any, but I have used Rit dye on some white wrap with no issues.

I use it on my hunting rigs and this spring switched back and forth between snow camo and desert about 100 times due to the fickle weather. (OK more like 5, still 4 too many!). Still sticks great. I spool it onto the plastic form it comes in. I ending up misplacing my role of desert in the swaps and bought a roll of Multicam.

Here's it action.
