Hello everyone,

I recently purchased an Aimpoint T1 with a Daniel Defense Mount. After mounting the optic on the rifle, I kept seeing a strange red tint that would be in the 9:00 to the 12:00 area when looking through the Aimpoint.

The more I lower my head and look through the optic, the more the red tint covers the entire viewing area. I tried adjusting various intensities, but it does not seem to have an effect on the red shading. Also, I tried wiping the lenses, still no help. It almost looks like its a reflection of that coating on the front of the T1.

Is this normal? Has anyone else experience something similar? I included a generic picture of the issue for reference. Thanks for reading.

Mine does it too. I think the lens coating reflects under certain lighting condition at certain angles. I haven't found it to be bothersome, and I'm pretty sure it is normal.

Yep. Mine too. Doesn't appear to affect the way it shoots. Just keep both eyes open when you use the sight and drive on.

Excellent, I just wanted to confirm my T1 wasn't a lemon. Thank you!
