These just came to Canada and they only did a run of 28... not sure if maybe they were testing the US market.

Came with a Marpat soft case and a custom muzzle break...
I managed to get 2 of them as they are a nice change. Here's a pic with an original.

Here's a pic update
I had a chance to get some better pics today of the new RFB in desert tan, and took the shots side be side with my original RFB.

so how do they shoot? Manly interested in accuracy and reliability.

I held one of these at the local shop today. It was pretty heavy and felt a lot more "high quality" than the average KelTec.

I didnt like how you basically had to peer up the ass end of the gun to see the chamber though.

I hate to say it, but as nice as the gun seems, Im still leery of the brand itself. How reliable is it? Is this a "no jams in 1000 rounds" type gun? Or is it finicky?

That's exactly how I have felt. I've been extremely leery of this gun since the first time I had heard about it. Of course, I'm wrong in doing so because I've never even held one. Actually, until this thread I never even gave it a second look but I figured I should probably get an opinion from somebody with some time on it.

I haven't shot the tan one yet but I'm at 400 rounds on the black one with 0 failures. They are solid and well balanced. I need to install the extended butt pads on these as there is some recoil. I own a Stag, H&K MR223, Daniel Defense, and a couple of Tavors, and I really am sold on this rifle. I think Kel-Tec has something to offer that is unique, well built, and made in the USA.

As for the accuracy, it's pretty much 1 MOA @ 100 with factory loads, I still haven't tried reloads as of yet. It's designed to be a battle rifle and not a precision rifle, but it does the job well out to 350m for me so far..In fact, I will be using this as my Moose rifle this year mainly because it's small and easy to pack.

To sum up...would I use it in battle? So far I'm impressed but until I've put another 3 or 4k down the pipe I'll stick to my M4's...but there is potential there..

Moose rifle? Now, I once had the same thought, but don't have many moose here in Texas! Help me with the logic... I'd imagine that a standard Bolt gun would be a good bit lighter weight. I've held the RFB, and really like it, but it seemed heavy.

Now, hunting hogs off a 4 wheeler.... I'm looking forward to hearing about your ideas of hunting with it.

Thanks for the info. Your rifle seems so far reliable and plenty accurate, seems as though theres a chance they made a nice quality gun. I'm going to try to hold one of these.

I've been keeping my eye on these guns but I'm still waiting to read even one report from someone with a few thousand through theirs or has gone to a class or competition and run it hard. so far I've only heard of a few hundred rounds at the target range but they worked fine.

I'm really hoping that the FRB and KSG are G2G

Very interested in trying out the RFB with my FAL, but bullpups and our crazy California laws don't work well together. :(

Hope it weathers the test of time.

The tan really accentuates the button head screws, and the classic Keltec clamshell design. It reminds me of those electric water pistols in the 80s.

I wish they spent a little time refining the design to make it more... I don't know, serious/professional before they started coming out with other colors and invoking the name of Desert Storm...

I think it's bullshit  that Kel-Tec is exporting these weapons to other countries and yet they can't keep up with the demand in the U.S.
As far as I know there's still a shortage and waiting period to get these weapons from the distributers. WTF?

Who knows, maybe they think when China or Russia invades that they will probably go through Canada.. I guess they're hoping we can hold them off for awhile

Local evidence suggests that the Chinese are already implementing this strategy.

It's not very exciting...I work in Vancouver, and if you look up current demographic numbers on Vancouver, you will see that if the Chinese intend to invade the west, the beachhead has definitely been established.
