View Full Version : Glock 20 - I like it!
Got the urge to buy a new gun. After researching about the 10mm I decided it would make a great addition. I tested both the 20 and 20sf. Even though I have smaller hands the 20 still shot and felt better in my hand. I have a local gun shop that carries the proper Sammi spec/original Norma type loads. So ammo, while not cheap is easy for me to get. I have so far only put 100 rounds through it but found it to be very accurate and the recoil to be very manageable. It is for sure a man stopper and will stop four legged things as well......If you are on the fence of getting a 20 or any 10mm I say go for it!

I have the 29sf, used mostly for outdoors and/or late night trips - luv the 10mm.
Glad to hear that you're happy with it. Georgia Arms sells 10mm 180gr FMJ @ $17.50 or $21 if you're able to find it in stock. It's great range ammo.

The Glock 20 has always been my favorite Glock. I had one form 1991 to 2003. I think that the wider grip was more conducive to my shooting it accurately as it was always the Glock model that I was the most accurate with. I am constantly talking myself out of buying another one.
Too bad H&K doesn't make a 10MM. A 10MM USP would be a hard act to follow.

15 Yards.
Ya there's been alot of talk online about Georgia Arm's ammo. I think I will give that stuff a shot for some good practice ammo.....On a side note I also put a 22lb spring in it. Functions just fine on lower powered ammo.

I seem to remember some members of an HK forum boring out their barrels to hold the 10mm rounds pretty much making a 10mm version. Don't remember much on it though.

I go to the gunshow every once in a while and pick up a canned heat box of their stuff. They drive up to Va to run a booth so I just pick it up locally. Generally they only have the reloads in 10mm but for range ammo they work fine and are cheaper then most 10mm ammo.
I have a few 10mm's to feed though.

OP the glock 20 is a great 10mm handgun. OP you should be very happy with it. Friend bought the 29 after shooting my 20. At some point I plan on getting the 29 myself.
