View Full Version : Do good deals on Glock magazines exist anymore?
I've been searching for G19 and G17 mags and $22.49 + $10 shipping is the best I've found. I'm kicking myself for not picking up a ton when they were around $12. I'm looking for 10 mags so little differences add up. Is there anything better out there? Thanks

Where are you finding that? They're $30 in the Pacific Northwest.

Natchezss had a pretty good deal back in January or so for G19 mags for $19 a pop. Bought six at the time.
Not quite as cheap now but they're still pretty reasonably priced:

Your post is almost too late. Glockmeister has a sale on magazines
$20 each. The sale has been going on since July 1st and the last day
is tommorow (sunday) July 17th. I ve picked up 6 G17 and 2 G19
mags from them. Also sign up for Natchez e-mail sale flyer, twice since Nov they've had magazine sales $18.99 each. I'm pretty sure
they will again.

Yeah, almost impossible to find them for under $20 nowadays. Although, after living through the horror that was the ban when normal capacity mags were running over $100 each, I have to say paying $20 doesn't feel so bad. :)
CDNN (http://www.cdnninvestments.com/) sometimes has decent Glock mag sales. Right now they are $22.99 (free shipping over $99) and if you buy four they toss in a free Glock Armorer's mat.
he may still have some. i bought a handful from him earlier

I just picked up some more G18 mags for 50% off at a local gun shop's annual summer clearance sale. Last year they had G17 and G19 factory new hi-caps for $15 a pop, I cleaned house. :D
I don't own any .40s but they had G22 mags half off this year too.
Riflegear has them, 5 for $85.

Thanks. I've been putting off buying spares and this is too good of a deal to pass up.

Depending on what your using your magazines for the Korean made Kahn G-17 magazines are decent for training after a few minutes of clean up. I also replace the stock spring with one made by Wolff if I'M going to use them in my bug-out bags and function check them with a few hundred rounds.
The good is that I own a few dozen of G-17/G-22 and G-18 versions and have never had a single failure of any type over the past year with stock springs.
I have recently seen the Kahn's on sale for $7.99 each from different on-line vender's.

What kind of clean-up are we talking about here?

I have found that a few of the magazines had a little plastic body material that protrudes near the feed lips, The plastic film I will call it is paper thin and I remove it with a knife blade. It takes all of 10 seconds to do and I have also seen this on Glock made magazines as well.

In my case not much - I bought a few for both my G19 and the extended fro my G30. The 9mm function well - so much that I leave one loaded in the truck. Now the .45 is another story. Bad spring in one and the other gets real tight around 20-21. I couldn't pass em up for the price on CDNN. Give em a try tho before trusting them in a carry situation. JMHO and .02

I figured it was something like that. Thanks for confirming.

Keep an eye on the various for-sale sections on gun forums, there are frequently very good deals on OEM mags.

I was wondering why we had a run on the G17 17rd 5 packs today :) Down to just some individual G17 17rd mags but we have plenty of the G19 15rd 5 packs still in stock. I hope this doesn't come across as a "for sale" posting because I do not want to violate the rules.

Just bought a 5-pack of G19 mags for about half of what they would have cost locally. Life is good.

I remember paying $90 each for used NON-dropfree G21 mags. Those were the days.

And people think I'm crazy when I buy mags just to horde. When I come across a good deal, I still buy mags even thougth I don't "need" them. I guess living through a ban will do that to a person.
During the ban days, I bought a used G17 with 3 hi-caps. I sold it with 2 10rd mags for what I paid for it. I thought that I had struck gold.

I'm the exact same way. IMO, magazines are just about the most unappreciated part of any weapon. Without a good mag, you've got a single shot firearm and if one gets damaged, it goes in the garbage.
