Thank you for this! If you get a chance could you run some in a 14.5" bbl?

This is their M193 equivalent? I've not seen or heard of this ammo yet.

Yes, and they have a M855 equivalent in their X-Tac line too.

Yeah. I've shot the 855 stuff... just didn't know they were doing a 193 version.

I'll try and get some numbers for a 14.5" this Sat.

This stuff looks just like the Bronze ( headstamp is different ). It is way faster for sure. I think I chrono'd some Bronze at about 2950 out of my 20".

Wow. That stuff is almost too hot. 3240 is spec for a 20 inch barrel isn't it?

Found this but I would have to verify if from a better source

M193: Defined by: Mil-C-9963F 55 grain bullet at a velocity of 3,165 from a 20" barrel @ 78 feet from the muzzle.

I chrono'd some genuine m193 from 67' to 70' out of this barrel, and it was the same speed. I'm starting to wonder if my CMMG chamber is a might tight, although I haven't had any problems with it.

78' = 26 yds......I wonder if 200 fps is too much to drop in this distance?

Also the difference between my BCM 16" and the CMMG 20" is approx. 200 fps, 50 fps/inch. This doesn't seem unreasonable.

That's true. The spec is out a ways beyond where we normally set our chrono's up.

And the 55 grain bullet does lose velocity remarkabley fast.

I had not seen this ammo before, but found it at sgammo.com after seeing this thread. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. Is it available anywhere else?

I just got a case of this stuff when I couldn't find any Hornady TAP around. Where is all the Hornady?

Thanks for the numbers. I have a ton of the M855. Never saw this until the thread. Scoots faster than the Bronze I've used plenty of.

Thanks again.
