Cool. Facebook or twitter may be a better venue for this type of thread. Some technical data t spruce it up would help it stay here.

We should all start talking about colt ARs.

I gotta say they are indeed smooth. Working the action on one next to most other ARs says a lot about the quality.

It does seem to be smoother.

An ol' SP-1 I worked a lot had a buffer tube that sounded like it could pump up a bike tire when working the action. No scratchy sound whatsoever, just air. (probably not just air but it was really nice)

There are two company rollmark variations on the lower receiver above the trigger. I'm curious about which one yours has.

ETA: I've seen them marked both ways, so I'm curious

I've been wondering myself....

There's been an influx of threads lately without much technical content that are little too twitter/facebook-like (I have a gun. I shot it.) The mods have been on a tear discouraging such posts.

Welcome back, enjoy the gun. Flesh out your post with some more info about what led to the "wow," and voilą, problem solved.

He's not being bullied, he's just being informed of the protocol on this site. His post is not useful as it contains no helpful or inquisitive information. This thread is simply a waste of bandwidth. If this type of post is in any way useful, I might as well start a new thread titled : "I JUST HAD SEX- IT FELT GREAT," and then follow that up with: "TITTIES ARE FUN"

Mods please lock.
