On sons of guns episode where they did the dual m16 for the navy guy and when they were doing the test fire at the beginning, what kind of m16 did that guy have?

Moved, because an M16 variant, by definition, is NOT "Other."

It doesn't really matter, because they ended up with a useless pile of crap. You really shouldn't pay to much attention to what they say, do, or use on that show. I'm sure they have drummed up all kinds of business with the mouth breathing crowd, but they have ruined any chance of ever getting any of my money.

What you do not want a chromed & pimped 1919 MG with motorcycle handle bars, and a flamed shaped flash hider. Psss:rolleyes: what the hell is wrong with you people.

If I had that pimped out belt fed, and used it in self defense, would I be in for a "legal nightmare?" Maybe someone on this forum can help me out?

Heck I guess they thought dual M16s wasnt enough and built a trimese M16, basically 3 M16 with the gas system linked with each other fireing simultaneously. I believe the episode was called "anniversary" or something like that. I can almost predict the next episode, its probably gona be "quad m16s"!!

Personally I'm waiting for the trimese M2 .50BMG.

Every customer walking through the door in search of a home defense weapon gets sold a Saga 12ga SBS. Only about $1,800, plus stamp fees.

Kinda neat to watch, but not what I'd be sending my money on.

The first question that came to my mind when I watched this is why? Why would an active duty Navy unit or even a reserve unit need to "create" a weapon system that currently doesn't exist by mounting twin M16's like they did. Why not just get an issued M249 SAW and be done with it?

This thread is useless and it really doesn't matter what "M16" was used because the whole episode was a steamy pile of crap.
