While waiting for delivery of my first Glock (G34), I'm wondering what are the recommended Glock reference books for the noobie. I see that Mike Pannone has a small pocket guide and I like his M4 handbook.

What are your thoughts and suggestions for my bookshelf.

Frankly the only reference worth having in print is the Glock Armorer's manual.

Otherwise they are really dirt simple. There should be a good online guide on how to detail strip them either in print or on youtube or the like. Once you've done it about 5 times or so you'll be able to do it without even thinking about it.

If you really want that kind of thing, sign up for GSSF and then take a Glock Armorer's class when they stop by near you again.

i got one of those armorer mats at the gun show, its a nice little reference to go with the armorers tool. In addition to the manual and class....after you strip it once or twice, you could probably strip the gun on ambien!

Ah, an armorer's tool........... didn't think of that. I found a PDF of the Armorer's Manual on line!!
Thanks for the help.

Yeah. Shooting it a lot will do the same thing as this quicky trigger job.
