tax deductable??
will there be a new block on the 1040 underneath the presidential campaign donation block next year??
premier barry should have referenced this when he told the republic that americans are "asked" to pay more in taxes.
I really want to see the numbers they collect off of this scheme!

You mean the Americans who actually work and PAY taxes, right? Lots of them do not.

The trouble here is liberals love to do good, using other people's money. Whey you donate to pay.gov you are using your money. Not nearly as much fun.

yes, that 53% who do!
Our goverment accepts charity now? WTF?
Interesting stat I read the other day: If every US citizen was taxed 100% of their annual income it still would not come close to paying off the public debt of 14 trillion and counting, let alone the private debt and the interest on those debts! Lol nice try by pay.gov though :help:

This is not a new program.
10 or 20 years ago there was a grass-roots effort by a surprising number of people to pay a little extra to pay down the debt. They ended up getting real disillusioned and quit after a decade of being the only ones who really gave a shit.
On a side note, I'm not really sure why you're limiting this to people who love entitlements and leaving out people who love bloated defense budgets. There's a lot of blame to go around, vis a vis the national debt.
